FreeUnlocks Facebook & Twitter Competion Terms & Conditions

1.  Entry into a FreeUnlocks Twitter Competition (“FreeUnlocks Twitter Competition”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2.  The FreeUnlocks Twitter Competition is conducted by Ideal Connection Pty Ltd, ABN 63 781 725 050  of PO BOX 2344, Caulfield Junction, 3161 VIC, Australia (“Promoter”).

3.  The competition period commences 2 Nov 2013 at 09:00am Australian EDST and ends on 30 Dec 2013 at 5:00pm AEDST (“Competition Period”). The Competition Period shall consist of 1 prize period or such other number as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion. The start and end (date and time) of each Prize Period will be announced on the FreeUnlocks Twitter or Facebook Feed – https://twitter.com/FreeUnlocks (“FreeUnlocks Twitter Account”) https://www.facebook.com/freeunlocks (“FreeUnlocks Facebook Account”) relating to the specific competition (each a “Competition”).  There shall be no more than one Prize Period.

4.  Entry is open to entrants worldwide over the age of 18, but not including employees or immediate family members of the Promoter or its affiliates. (“Eligible Entrants”). ‘Immediate family members’ means husband, wife, de facto, mother, father, brother, sister, son and/or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same household. All entrants must ensure their entries comply with their relevant local laws. Ideal Connection Pty Ltd will not be held liable for entrants violating their local laws.

5.  To enter, you must be a registered user on Twitter (a third party website). If you do not have a Twitter account, follow the onscreen instructions to register for a Twitter account at http://twitter.com. Twitter accounts are free.  Once you have obtained a Twitter account, you must register online as a follower of the FreeUnlocks Twitter Account.

6.  The Promoter will post a Tweet (or a number of consecutive Tweets) from the FreeUnlocks Twitter Account announcing a Competition and setting out the close of the Prize Period, a prize description, and the method of entry (each, a “Prize Period Commencement Tweet”). To enter a Competition following the Promoter’s Prize Period Commencement Tweet, reply to the Promoter in the following manners (each, a “Submission”)

i)  post a Tweet from your Twitter account before the close of the Prize Period, including the FreeUnlocks Twitter Account in your reply (i.e., by including either @FreeUnlocks  in your Tweet); and

ii)  respond in the manner set out in entry page

To be valid, your Submission must be in full compliance with all requirements of the Twitter Terms of Service, including but not limited to requirements relating to content and format.

7.  A description of the prize(s) available to be won in connection with a Competition (each, a “Prize”) will be announced by the Promoter in the Prize Period Commencement Tweet or Facebook Post.  Generally, Prizes shall include gift cards or electronics, and any other items selected by the Promoter. The approximate retail value of each Prize shall range from AUD$15.00 – $350.00.

8.  Eligible Entrants receive one entry per Submission and multiple Submissions per person per Prize Period are not allowed. The creation of multiple Twitter or Facebook Accounts for the purpose of entering the Sweepstakes will not be tolerated. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than the stated number of Submissions by using multiple/different Twitter or Facebook accounts or any other methods may void all of that person’s Submissions and that person may be disqualified.

9.  The Promoter’s decision of the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10.  By sending a Submission, each entrant consents to receive an email from the Promoter notifying such entrant that he/she is a Prize winner.

11.  At the time of winner notification potential winners will be required to provide their contact details including their full name, date of birth and a residential or postal address.

12.  In the event that the Prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter will issue the Prize to another Eligible Entrant as determined by the Promoter.

13.  The Prize will be sent by post to the Prize winners within 28 days of the date of receiving the Prize winners return details. The Promoter will cover all postage costs and will take no responsibility for Prizes damaged in transit.

14.  The name of the winner’s Twitter or Facebook username may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter in any media worldwide for an unlimited period of time. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with this Competition in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Competition and awarding any Prizes.

15.  The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate a Competition, in whole or in part, and/or modify, amend or suspend a Competition, and/or these official rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice. In the event of cancellation for any reason during a Prize Period, the Promoter will judge all eligible, non-suspect, Submissions received during the applicable Prize Period prior to cancellation in order to award a Prize.

16.  Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any loss or damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of any Competition. All Entrants agree that all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connecting with any Competition shall be subject to the law of the State of Victoria, and all parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Victoria.

17.  The FreeUnlocks Twitter & Facebook Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter Inc or Facebook and all entrants release Twitter and Facebook from all liability in relation to the Competition.
