You might be aware that recently Tizen developer summit was held in Korea to discuss the possibilities of having a Samsung mobile phone with Tizen mobile operating OS in the first quarter of the year 2014.\u00a0 For those who don\u2019t know Tizen is a mobile Operating system based on an open source Linux to be used not only in mobile phones in tablets and other devices.<\/p>\n

\nIn the summit Samsung his dedication to have a Tizen mobile phone was clearly shown has they discussed their plans in the future with the new mobile operating systems. Most of Samsung mobile phones to date use Google android operating system. Samsung is one of the best producers Android operating devices with competition from other major companies such as Motorola and Lg.
\nSamsung speculates more uses for TIzen.\u00a0 They also have plans to work with other companies to develop devices that could make life much better. For instance Samsung has partnered with automotive companies such as Landrover, Toyota and Jaguar to develop Tizen powered entertainment systems in vehicles. These systems will also be used as information devices.\u00a0 Samsung also plans to use Tizen in home appliances such as refrigerators,\u00a0\u00a0 and TVs.<\/p>\n

To begin with, Samsung intends on implementing Tizen on more home appliances and other consumer electronics, such as refrigerators and TVs. More so, Samsung and Intel have started collaboration with automotive companies such as Jaguar, Land Rover and Toyota, in order to implement Tizen-powered infotainment systems in vehicles.
